‘A Night in The Heart – SOLD OUT’

Friday 19th April, 2024
from 6.30-9.30pm with Sarah & Rosa
If you’d like to be on our waitlist please send us an email info@spaceyoga.nz
$57

Join us for an evening cultivating & strengthening heart practices. We explore the sacred space within, where pure love, intuition and courage resides. A love that is ultimately who we are. In the yoga tradition we call it, “spanda” – the sacred tremor of the heart: a vibration that makes us available to see & experience joy. To move through challenges from a sacred centre, the heart.
We will share cacao medicine together, enjoying the heart warming magic of this plant. We’ll move through some nourishing and meditative shapes, that will invite the energy of Anahata chakra to arise, the energy of love, compassion, forgiveness and abundance. The devotional practice of mantras will join us, with the sounds of the guitar, drum & harmonium. Mantra is a unique combination of syllables that bring a particular energy, ease & harmony, inviting us to shift from the mind into the heart. This is an invitation to tap into your inner wisdom and reconnect with your beautiful self, your constant companion.
You can bring your own mat or use a studio mat. We have bolsters + blankets and eye pillows for everyone.
To maximise the benefits of cacao it’s ideal to avoid eating heavily before our night together – a lighter meal is usually good. Please make sure you bring your favourite mug & a journal for sacred reflections.

Harmonic Sound Journey

Claudio Escutia

$55

Join Claudio in Space for this special evening of Sacred Harmonic Sounds. Claudio plays many instruments – Gong, Tibetan Bowls, Crystal bowls, Native American Flutes, and other traditional ancient instruments and amplifies them with high quality audio equipment.
Come and experience a journey of deep relaxation, exploration and connection.
By being exposed to harmonic sounds & vibrations like this, we offer the nervous system an opportunity to relax. We can then find connection with citta -heart-mind- and find a paradoxical inner silence by settling into sound.

‘Full Moon in Autumn’

Silent Meditation Retreat
22-27th May, 2024
Tauhara Retreat Centre, Taupo
with Lana Bright, Sarah Morley & Oliver Ferry

Come with us into the sanctuary of a retreat setting, without rushing to be anywhere else. This special silent retreat draws on both the wisdom of traditional meditation practices & the evolution of these for being well & waking up now. Lana, Sarah & Oliver are delighted to be your teachers.
With care and quiet reverence, we will explore meditation in form & energy: seated, reclined, walking meditation, moving & still meditative yoga asana, mantra meditation, metta bhavana, chakra meditation. We offer breath consciousness practices as potent portals for meditation.
We offer meditation & well-being principles & ideas for their sustenance & benefit. We infuse awareness with questions for the body, mind & heart. Poetry is woven into each day to open us up to possibility, mystery and appreciation. Let yourself enjoy time & space too in the afternoons to rest & practice in your own heartfelt way. Let the nourishment that you are receiving here simply be digested.
The full moon, on the 24th May, is particularly potent for millions of meditators across our planet. This is celebrated as Vesak full moon. (Vesak Day – United Nations https:www.un.org).
