Week Three

Knock knock …Who’s there?

I started this practise last year with a yogi friend – I’d send her a text and she’d send me one, with this question on, early in the day.

For us it offered a time to pause and consider who we might actually show up as today. It’s very much like an intention or sankalpa for the mind/heart/spirit.

I’ve noticed some qualities and states settle more easily in me –  joy is one of those.

What I’ve also noticed is the changing nature of the quality  – one moment it’s here deeply, then it’s flitting away, then gone completely and replaced by something else I wasn’t expecting. Then when I stop and actually see that this has occurred, it’s as if I’ve allowed space for the quality to return again.

So choose a quality/ state / intention to cultivate and settle into for a day, for your week or maybe even for your whole life.

Pay attention to what happens. Notice it arising…passing…arising…

Let’s begin right away.
