Week One

What if you just trusted that you already knew the answers to life’s questions?

And what if you took a little time each week to ponder 1 question or 1 idea?

And what if who you were following wasn’t so much others – what they are thinking, saying and doing, their life – but you were tuning much more in to your own unique journey and life ?

And what if you became aware of the balance – this balance of reflecting and taking action, being inspired and inspiring others?

So my intention for a weekly blog is to keep it simple and post 1 compelling question and 1 thought/ idea for you to explore. I have a feeling that if you take the time to let the question and thought be with you for your week, you will be moved by the answers you awaken within you.

Know that I’ve also rested with and explored these questions and ideas I’m offering you. It’s been life changing.

So let’s begin.

Enough or not enough..

What if you notice that this moment, this experience this person you are with right now is enough?

This week as you engage with the world and engage with your thoughts and actions, let ‘enough’ accompany you.
This way of engaging encourages an open inclusiveness to life just as it is without grasping for or attachment to how it must be or should be.

And yet we know that at times when life is tricky, we may experience a deafening ‘not enough’ or ‘I’ve had enough’. So I encourage you to notice that too. Labelling ‘not enough’ in your mind and allowing yourself to be curious enough about that as well, might bring you more ease or subtle awareness to difficulties as they arise moment to moment.

So plant ‘enough’ like a seed through your week and be curious to see how things are for you. Let ‘enough’ rest with you as you move in a posture, le it sit with you in meditation, allow it to walk with you on the beach, encourage it to flavour your food as you eat.

It may turn out to be illuminating, frustrating or barely enough. Just explore that too and listen for any answers as they emerge.

So take a pen and write down the word ‘enough’ somewhere – maybe in a journal, on the fridge – to remind yourself what you’re practicing this week. Tell a friend what you’re up to.

Great.

So that’s enough from me for now.
